The Minsa reported that to date there are a total of 351,949 recovered patients and 3,845 cases of COVID-19 remain active.
With a total of 314 new cases of
COVID-19 , the number of total infections in Panama rose to 361,992 for this Thursday, April 22, according to the epidemiological report issued by the Ministry of Health (
Minsa).
In addition, 2 new deaths and 2 more deaths from previous days are reported, to make an accumulated of 6,198 deaths due to the
coronavirus in the country. The case fatality rate remains at 1.7%.
The
Minsa maintains a registry of 324 patients who are hospitalized in the ward and 66 are in intensive care units.
To date, there are a total of 351,949 recovered patients and 3,845 active
coronavirus cases.
Of the total active cases, 3,251 people are in isolation at home and 204 are kept in hotels.
In the last hours, 9,021 new tests were carried out to detect
coronavirus, for a positivity percentage of 3.4%.
