The public health and safety authorities announced this Friday, October 23, that from this weekend checkpoints will be installed at the entrances to the beaches and rivers, with the aim of regulating the entry of people.

Sucre , Minister of Health, explained, in a press conference, that the measure was taken because from this Saturday, October 24, the opening of the beaches, rivers and spas is ordered, from 6:00 a.m to 4:00 pm, activity that was suspended last March due to the
coronavirus pandemic.
Sucre said that the agents that make up the Joint Task Force will review the identity card of each person who attends these places. In this way, he added, it will be possible to identify, if there are people who have been quarantined by
Covid-19.
The official recalled that to travel to beaches and rivers, it will be necessary to do so in the "family bubble", with a maximum of seven people. And they must keep their masks at all times and be placed at a distance of four meters with other bubbles. They can only withdraw the mask when bathing and when eating.
Meanwhile, the National Police reported that, starting at noon this Friday, they will move traffic agents on the road to the interior and to the beaches. And on Sunday it will make a lane reversal into the city.
Meanwhile, the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) reported that it will be present in 27 points of the country, with 187 agents.
