Some 75 traffic accidents have been registered in the last 24 hours, reported the National Police of Panama.

Likewise, more than two thousand drivers have been sanctioned by the authorities. A total of 892 were fined for speeding, 62 for being in a state of proven intoxication, and 123 were towed away.

Some 95 thousand cars moved to the interior of the country, of which 47 thousand have returned to the capital city. The volume to a state of moderate to intense indicated the Police.

In addition to the accidents registered in the last hours, on Saturday some 1,806 drivers were fined for speeding, 109 for proven drunkenness, 19 for alcoholic breath, 368 for driving vehicles with inadequate lights, 50 penalized for talking on a cell phone, 22 drivers with expired licenses.

And there were about 137 traffic accidents.
