In these vaccination sweeps, the anticovid vaccine from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer is applied to people 16 years of age and older who reside in these circuits.
The President of the Republic of Panama , Laurentino Cortizo, announced this Friday anticovid vaccination sweeps, for the application of second doses, in circuits of the provinces of Darien, Coclé, Panama, Panama Oeste and Veraguas.
Here are the circuits where the immunization days will take place:
2-2 and 2-4 in Coclé.
4-5 and 4-6 in Chiriquí.
5-1 5-2 in Darién and the Emberá region.
8-6 in San Miguelito, Panama.
8-1 in Arraiján, Panama Oeste.
9-1 in Santiago, Veraguas.
9-3 in Veraguas (from 12 years old).

Pfizer is applied to people 16 years of age and older. Those who are between 12 and 16 years old, must go to their parents or guardians, and certify that they are a chronic patient or that they have a disability. In case the disability is evident, it will not require documents.
This modality is implemented in Panama, due to the number of doses of
Pfizer that have arrived in the country in recent days.
To date, 3.7 million doses of the
COVID-19
vaccine have been applied, of which 3 million correspond to
Pfizer and 625 thousand to
AstraZeneca. According to Cortizo, 90% of the officials have been immunized.
