This Monday, August 9, the vaccination against covid-19 with the Pfizer formula began in private hospitals in the capital, starting of 16 years of age.
The private hospitals that join the vaccination strategy against covid-19 are:
Hospital San Fernando Clinic (Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm)
National Hospital (Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm)
Hospital Santa Fe (Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm)
Pacifica Salud (Vaccination is carried out in Multiplaza from Monday to Friday and Saturday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm)
The Panama Clinic (Vaccination takes place at the Pacific Center from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm)
Paitilla Hospital (Multicentro from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm)
Brisas Hospital (9:00 am to 4:00 pm)
Centro Médico del Caribe, SA (Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm).
Mae Lewis Medical Center (Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm).
To get the dose of the vaccine in private hospitals, people must schedule their appointment on the platform vacunas.panamasolidario.gob.pa, and choose the option web appointments.
To verify the day, time and place of vaccination, enter vacunas.panamasolidario.gob.pa and select the option verify.
The initiative is carried out in coordination with the directors of private hospitals and the All Panama Movement, to expedite the vaccination process against covid-19.
Luis Sucre, Minister of Health of Panama, said that the vaccine in private hospitals is provided free of charge.
"The Government will provide the vaccine and the syringes, the rest what is the space, the area, and the rest of the supplies is being put directly by the hospital itself in support of the Panamanian population," Sucre said.
He explained that about 11 thousand doses per week have been allocated to private hospitals.
