The relaxation of restriction measures announced by the Minister of Health, Luis Sucre, will take effect from next July 26.

Sucre announced the relaxation of restriction measures in districts of the provinces of Veraguas, Chiriquí, Colón and in the Panama Metro region as of next Monday, July 26, due to the decrease in
covid-19 infections.
Sucre explained that in the province of Veraguas, specifically in the districts of Soná, La Mesa and Santiago, the total quarantine will be lifted on Sundays, but the curfew is maintained from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am.
In the rest of the province of Veraguas the established measures are maintained.
While in the province of Chiriquí the curfew in the Alanje district will remain from 12:00 am to 4:00 am, in the rest of the province the curfew is maintained from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am
For the province of Colón, Minister Luis
Sucre reported that in the district of Donoso the curfew passes from 12:00 am to 4:00 am, and for the rest of the districts the measures already established are maintained.
In the Panama Metro region, the curfew will be in force from 12:00 am to 4:00 am from July 26, and the closing of shops at 11:00 pm
Regarding the provinces of Los Santos and Herrera,
Sucre explained that despite the fact that there has been a decrease in the speed of
covid-19 infections, the current measures will be maintained to reduce the spread of the virus.
