Adventure Next, an adventure tourism fair will take place in Panama in February 2022

Adventure Next will be taking place for the first time in Panama and Central America, it is expected that local destinations will be exposed.
In 2022 the "Adventure Next" fair of the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) will be held in Panama , to promote adventure tourism in the country, it will take place from February 5 to 13, but it should be noted that agents and buyers from this sector will arrive days before to have contact with the adventure products on which they will negotiate on the days of the fair with local suppliers.

The general administrator of the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), Iván Eskildsen, stated that this event allows Panama to expose itself in the tourism market, on which they have been focusing.

“Panama has an extraordinary richness in its biodiversity and its ethnodiversity; Due to our ease of access throughout the country, we will be in a competitive advantage position to develop this market in a strong way," said Eskildsen.

With the meeting it will be possible to integrate the communities that are working in these economic activities, it is expected that community producers, hotel representatives, guides, among others, will have the opportunity to present themselves to an international network of more than 30 thousand buyers through a "marketplace".

On the other hand, Ernesto Orillac, president of the National Chamber of Tourism of Panama, assured that the holding of this fair represents a reactivation because it will create relationships with the main adventure travel companies in the world.

“All of this will increase the number of visitors, because if a buyer bets on the destination Panama, that wholesaler has a wide network of travel agencies and companies specialized in adventure tourism, to whom they sell the destination's products and this translates into the arrival of tourists to the country and economic reactivation, "Orillac stressed.

Other attractions of the fair is that it will allow a future exhibition, since all experiences will be related by the ATTA team of storytellers, which is made up of journalists and travelers who will generate information and images about the Panama destination.

It should be noted that according to the ATTA, adventure tourism is one of the areas of tourism with the highest growth in the world, global spending is estimated at 683 billion dollars, which represents 30% of the world industry.

The Adventure Next fair will be held for the first time in Panama and Central America.
