70 years jail sentence divided between two cop killers

The policeman's body was dumped in the Dos Ríos neighborhood, his Glock 9 weapon was sold for $1000 in Don Bosco sector.
It took more than six years to bring justice to a police officer who was robbed and murdered. The homicide prosecutor divided 70 years between the two murderers.

On August 3, 2014, Victorino Manuel Hinestroza Mora boarded a taxi on the Tocumen road and, was shot dead near a concrete factory.

His body was abandoned in the Dos Ríos neighborhood and the Glock 9 weapon was sold for $1000 in the Don Bosco sector.

Benigno Ramos, a.k.a "Benji", was the one who gave the testimony to unravel the case. He was sentenced to 30 years and four months in prison.

While Antonio Cesar Ramos González, nicknamed 'El Viejo, was given a 40 years and six months sentence.

This attack was planned the same day as the homicide in a residence in El Trébol, in the Pacora district. It was driven by need of money for medical tests.
