667 detained for breaching the curfew in Panama in 24 hours
A total of 667 people were detained by the National Police, for failing to comply with the curfew decreed in Panama to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
According to the Police report, out of the total number of detainees, 558 are men, 94 women and 15 minors.
In addition, 145 vehicles were returned at the different sanitary control points, due to non-compliance with Executive Decree No. 499.
It should be noted that this weekend is a curfew in the provinces of Panamá, Panamá Oeste, Colón, Chiriquí and Bocas del Toro, which started at 7:00 pm on Friday until 5:00 am on Monday. For the rest of the provinces they remain as before.
