Panamá actualiza situación del COVID-19

603 new cases of COVID-19 and 21 new deaths in the last 24 hours in Panama

Panama registered 603 new cases of COVID-19 and 21 new deaths in the last 24 hours, reported the Ministry of Health (Minsa).
With these figures, the accumulated cases and 1,788 deaths from this virus increased to 82,543 with a fatality rate of 2.2%.

In the last 24 hours, 2,199 new tests were carried out to detect COVID-19 for a 27% positivity rate. In total, 273,685 tests have been carried out, of which 189,349 have been negative.

There are a total of 24,910 active cases and 55,845 recovered patients for a total of 53,857.

Of the active patients, 22,692 are at home and 586 in hotels, while 1,632 are hospitalized (1,476 in ward and 156 in intensive care).

And yet Costa Rica has less than 300 deaths total. Maybe our minister of health should make a phone call, but then again CR is using hydroxychloroquine so i guess they have not been bought off by big pharma yet or they really care about their prople
