In Panama, a total of 3.57 million doses of vaccines against COVID-19 have been applied.
A total of 375,570 doses of
Pfizer's
COVID-19
vaccine arrived in Panama on Tuesday, August 17 .
This is the thirtieth batch of
vaccines sent by this pharmaceutical company to the country as part of the ongoing vaccination strategy contemplated in Operation PanavaC-19.
With these new doses, the vaccination by sweeps that is carried out at the national level, from the age of 16, and from the age of 12 in chronic patients or certified disability will be reinforced.
Currently, doses of
COVID-19
vaccines developed by
Pfizer and
AstraZeneca are being applied in Panama.
The Ministry of Health (
Minsa) of Panama, asks the population to register and verify themselves through vacunas.panamasolidario.gob.pa/verificate/ enabled to notify the day, time and place where the dose will be applied.
To date, more than 3.57 million doses have been applied, of which 2.86 are from the pharmaceutical company
Pfizer and 602 thousand from
AstraZeneca.
