275 Coronavirus deaths in Panama; total number of cases 9,606
The Ministry of Health (Minsa) detailed on Sunday afternoon, May 17, that the coronavirus has left a total of 275 dead in the country.
There are 157 new cases of those infected with the virus.
According to official data, the total number of infected with the virus in the country is now 9606, while 6,181 patients recovered from the disease.
2,914 patients are in home isolation, of which 752 are in so-called hospital hotels.
The Ministry of Health also reported that 336 people are hospitalized; 267 in the ward and 69 in the intensive care units.
