A cluster of
COVID-19 was detected in an asylum located in La Chorrera, in the province of Panamá Oeste, when 23 people tested positive for
coronavirus.
There are 4 collaborators and 19 patients, according to the regional deputy director of the Ministry of Health (
Minsa), Dalia Rodríguez, who indicated that currently those infected remain in isolation.
One of the infected people lost his life due to the diseases he suffered.

Despite the fact that Panama is in the process of vaccination against
COVID-19, the use of masks continues to be essential as they represent protection above 80%.
