200 drug packages seized in the Pearl Islands; three arrested
The National Aeronaval Service of Panama (Senan) reported this Saturday, January 30, on the seizure of some 200 packages of alleged illicit substance, a speedboat and the apprehension of three subjects south of Isla San José, Pearl Islands.
Senan reported that together with the Panama Drug Prosecutor's Office, they seized the speedboat drug, which was transporting the drugs.
The detainees were transferred to the Capitan de Fragata Noel A. Rodríguez Justavino Naval Base, for the pertinent proceedings.
So far in January 2021, the Senan, through the 10 operations, has achieved a total seizure of 3,380 packages of illicit substances.
