Casos de Covid-19 no disminuyen, reportan más de mil en las últimas 24 horas

1,046 new COVID-19 cases and 25 deaths reported in 24 hours in Panama

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported on Wednesday, July 29, that 1,046 new positive cases of Covid-19 and 25 new deaths were reported in the country.
These figures increase the total cases to 63,269 and deaths to 1,374, Minsa announced in a statement.

In the last 24 hours 3,133 tests were applied, with positivity rate of 33.4%.

The recovered patients (without symptoms) are 37,316 and the active cases total 24,579.

In home isolation there are 23,119 people, of whom 22,430 are in their homes and 689 in the so-called hospital hotels.

While the patients who remain hospitalized are 1,460 and of them 1,302 are in the ward and 158 in the intensive care unit.
